I didn't expect it to be so good!! This was a mix of engaging adventurous storyline with non stop fast paced thrilling action!! You don't need to be an expert on the science fiction. Great storyline about a war of souls brew between King Kresh and Priestess Alex, two monarchs, which rises from a pit of death. Easy to understand, references well linked. Amazing narrative; and as amazing! With so many interesting characters. The characters were not overly done, and made more realistic. The pauses, sighs, fast paced narration when in action. It was perfect! I love narrators that bring books to life. A movie in my head. I kept putting on sleep timer and kept having to restart. Yes, it was hard to let go. Oh, yeah! Adventure? Definitely! Action? It will have you on the edge of your seat!! The science fiction is beyond words! Really annoying to have interruptions. Hard to avoid with life and kids.

An intriguing origin story...Readers will keep turning the pages to see what happens next.
