What makes this book an amazing read is that most of the incidents were taken from the real life of the author itself. Year 1947 , authors family migrated from Pakistan to India during the partition of Pakistan from India. They even got great amount of land in India in exchange of their land in Pakistan but most of their land were taken away by local militants and what left they lost because of the loss in buisness. Year 1984 , the former prime minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi got killed and from that incident communal riots against sikh community started. In which bobby Sachdeva's family was forced to flee to Delhi.
