My Thoughts
Trapped In A Covid Bubble is a fun story and a must-have for parents and teachers who want to educate children about our current Covid situation and the importance of standing tall against all odds. Through this book Giovanni's shares his experience as he learns how we can cope these type of situations through journaling , reminding everyone that they are not alone, and together they will get through hard times. The language is easy to understand and makes a great read aloud in the classroom. The story is easy enough for young children to understand and helps spark discussions regarding pendemic and positive mindset. Giovanni, learns the importance of protecting and helping others. The story and illustrations are creative and keep children engaged throughout the book without sounding instructional. It helps kids understand and navigate the recent events and the changes that have occurred in the world and everyday life. Through words and pictures, author Giovanni Rosas and illustrator Julia offer insight into what the pandemic means now and in the near future. It communicates the message that the most important part of life to face these kind of situations is our mindset and the importance of being healthy and love of our family.
I must say Giovanni has done a wonderful job of explaining so many key circumstances that surrounded us during the Covid-19 pandemic. I especially love the way the book identifies how important mindset is and how to embrace change and appreciate the important things like the love of family. The illustrations are beautiful.
It has brought families closer together for more family time. I highly recommend this for bedtime story telling for anyone with little ones! I highly recommend this adorable book to read to children about the pandemic! It was well written in kid friendly language.
