Review
Hilaire Belloc once said " we wander for distraction , but we travel for fulfilliment "
Have you ever felt stuck in your life ?
Have you ever felt like you don't know which way to go , which path to choose?
Like you don't know what to do next?
What to do after graduation?
Everywhere but home is a work of nonfiction and real life experiences of the author. It's a journey of Phil Rosen from a travel Blogger , traveller to a published author.

After graduating college Phil decided to move to Hong Kong, leaving everything behind , California where he lives most of his life to all his family, friends and all familier things.
After settling down in Hongkong Phil started teaching English to the locals. During his journey as a traveller he used to meet new people and while writing in his travel blog about all those new people and places he visits, he discovers about his own priorities in life.

Everywhere but home is journey of finding oneself and raising yourself above the opinions and expectations of family friends and other people living around us.

I told myself two years ago that before I sat down and claimed to be a writer, I must first live in such a manner that is worth recounting. I endeavored to devour experience and novelty, to partake in the buffet of escapades that adventure provides. If travel has taught me anything, it is that you never really know how to attain wisdom exactly, and even if you do attain some you can never be sure how to put it to good use. The only option that remains seems to be to keep your eyes wide open and hope to pick up a few things along the way.

Plot and Narration
Author has complete control over his style of writing. Part of experiences may have been happened in past, but author has shared all his experience with such freshness , intensity and power that it feels like you are the one who is living his life .
