Pokhran - A Novel Review
Pokhran
By Uday Singh
" We knew the world would not be the same . A few people laughed a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty , and to impress him , takes on his multi armed form and says, ' now I'm become death , the distroyer of world's . I suppose we all thought that , one way or another. - J Robert Oppenheimer

"BOOM"
Another shot rang out , and this time bullet passed smoothly through my ribs and heart , and exited through the other side. I could feel the heat of the bullet as it passed through me and then I began to see myself rise out of that frail dead body and drift upwards.
Pokhran is a journey of protagonist Chaitanya from deserts of Pokhran to Syria along with Zara. Pokhran is a story of courage, struggle and unbreakable spirit of a human being. Simple yet Engaging storyline. Author has complete control over his style of writing.
Story is connected to some real life events which makes it even more engaging read.
