Binge and nothingness Review

Binge and Nothingness
By Juan Kaius

The pain and pleasure principle , developed by Sigmund Freud, suggests that people make choices to avoid or decrease pain or make choices that create or increase pleasure. The pain pleasure principle is the core of all the decisions we make. Beliefs , values , Actions and decisions are built upon this principle. Binge and Nothingness is a story of a young adult which resolves around his constant search for the meaning in all the pleasures he seeks out of almost anything.

" Finally my life would have meaning!"

The Readera Review of binge and nothingness | Genre Fiction
Juan Kaius, a 25 year old young protagonist, according to him he has done everything at the age of 24 mostly focusing on drugs and girls . Now , there is nothing to do new in life. So, in order to fill that empty void of nothingness and in constant urge to feel something new he decides to give up his life, and is ready to embrace the unknown death itself. Juan decides to jump off a mountain top at Triune Dharamkot . But little did he knows that life has some other plans for him.

" The first step to eternal life is you have to die."

Book is written as a first person protagonist which makes it even more engaging, because Juan Kaius the storyteller recounts all the events from his own unique point of view. Author has complete control over the storyline and his style of writing. I have read many books but this story of Juan amazed me because of its unique and astonishing storyline.
