Synopsis
To the outside world, Cara’s life seems perfect. The only one who knows the dark secrets inside her home is her best friend and next-door neighbor, Adam. Cara’s only escape is by writing and sharing her stories with him through their facing bedroom windows late at night.
Just when everything seems to get better, Cara’s world shatters, causing her to spiral into a deep depression and writer’s block. Even though Adam promises her “everything will be okay,” she knows things will never be the same.
As she clutches to the fractured wounds of the past, how will Cara ever be able to love or write again?
BREATHTAKING is a heart-wrenching coming-of-age story that fans of John Green and Nicholas Sparks will love.

" Learn to appreciate what you have before time makes you appreciate what you had. "
Think of the most painful thing that you have ever experienced.
Actually take a moment and do it.
As you do that , realize that all it took for you to revisit it was a dozen written words from a person you have likely never met.
That's how close to your life that pain you just felt still is - and always will be.
That's what I felt while reading
Breathtaking by Courtney Turcotte Bond
Breathtaking is an excruciating story of Cara and Adam.
Book is flushed with humanly emotions along with many twists and turns , which will keep you hooked throughout 310 pages.
Parts of this experience may have been told before but never with such freshness , intensity and power.
I just finished Breathtaking , didn't wanted it to end. I didn't even know I could cry that ugly while reading a book until now. Feeling lucky to read this masterpiece.
A book that can make me cry is a small miracle.
Simply Un-put-down-able
I fell in love with the writings of Courtney Turcotte Bond, her story telling along with powerful poetries , words and phrases.
