The quantum cartographer: book of cruxes by Kristen Keenon Fisher is a work of science fiction, set in the year 2033.

Eliza Carrefour , former scientist living with her two year old son. Until one night when some unknown dangerous men dressed in shrouds invites themselves into her home , which leads her son , Nija to flee away from the house in order to get some help.

Unable to find any option to keep her only child safe and to stop all the happenings in this world. Eliza decided to send Nija back in the time alone , with the help of a portal. Now it's " Twentieth Century " Nija is here , location Ancient Kressya where a magical and powerful crystal known as The cartographer that transports people through time. Here Nija met a man named Serros who helped and guided Nija on his journey ahead.

" Shivering with uncertainty, Eliza hands her son to Nour , who layers him in a metallic sheet and lays him inside the generator: it was always going to be this way , Eliza tells herself. "

During his journey Nija found some new friends who helped him in the time of trouble, and steadily Niza realizes his true purpose in life.

Twist and turns will definitely keep you hooked. Plot is impressive but not so smooth and easy. So, it needs your total attention to keep your hold over the story. Author has complete control over his story and his style of writing. Suspence is the key element of the story, which will keep the readers engaged at all times.
