" I exist , I am not your hallucination , not your imagination. I am real as real as the ringing pain in your ears right now. "
I have always been skeptical of horror story books because either they are rushed or feel like the story is not fitting together.
But,
The Talking dead by Chandrima Das changed my view. There are four horror stories each accompanied by an engaging and interesting plot. The eighty two pages book never feels boring and as every story ends , you will start reading the next one with the curiosity of a child.
There are stories that feels absolutely connected with our real life , and then their is other story which provides a new aspect of looking at ghosts and spiritual world. You will admire , hate and feel pity for the protagonists in the stories.
Stories will surely make you paranoid. Every story of the talking dead is definitely nightmare matterial. None of the stories felt confusing or excessively violent , and all of them had some unpredictable aspect to them , which made them fun to read.
Each story is not directly related to each other but the dark and horror theme makes it easy for the reader to read them. Consecutively stories of the talking dead are bound to scare you and entertain you with beautifully written stories. I got the chills so many times between each story.
Read it , till it starts giving you nightmares and even daymares . Whenever your heart desires them.
