Synopsis

Smörgåsbord of Musings is a collection of poems, anecdotes and random thoughts expressed from the points of view of different people - men, women, non-binary persons, kids, teenagers, adults - all going through different things in life. People living happy lives, some not-so-happy lives, people in love, people dealing with heartbreak, the ones who believe life is better with a bit of whimsy, this book, hopefully, has a little something that resonates with everybody, lets the reader find the silver lining when needed and discover the joie de vivre even when times are hard.

My Thoughts

This is one of the books which I'm reading third time in past two weeks. Rathnakumar Raghunath brings out all the preeminent emotions that we all living beings go through in our lives at some point or the other. The strong suit of his writing is that he expresses these otherwise compound emotions in the most discernible way anyone can ever do! This book if flushed with different phases of emotions which are aptly compared to the various stages of our life like childhood and adolescence.

This collection of poems were really beautiful and insightful. Rathnakumar Raghunath has a gift regarding writing and being true about it. It's raw and deep and there are some subjects that although made me uncomfortable, were presented in such a direct but humble way, that I couldn't help but found them beautiful.

I'm out of words
Its Beautiful...
The range of emotions are all felt sadness, anger, loss, grief, pride, guilt, fear, nervousness, shame, joy, surprise, love.

These poems are heartfelt.
Rathnakumar Raghunath is a lovely gift to the world.

Highly Recommended!!
