⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My Rating 4.5/5
Synopsis
As their world is turned upside down, two superheroes must battle their greatest enemy yet...
Ryan and Jake suffer heart-breaking tragedy and are barely existing in life. One disaster leads to another until a freak incident changes them beyond their wildest imagination and gives them incredible Superpowers.
But this isn't the only change in the sleepy town of Trincaster, an evil force is on the rise and no one can stop it. Can the Super Twins discover who is behind the crime wave and defeat them in the ultimate battle?
The Super Twins is the debut novel in the soon to be expanded Super Twins series. If you like, action-packed fight scenes, witty banter, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then you'll love Andy Slinger's humorous, powerful first instalment.
My Thoughts
While many children’s librarians will tell you that they have strived to make their book collections diverse and inclusive, they have always been hampered by what was being published in a given year. Nowhere is this more evident than when it comes to fun and interesting books. Since #beingresponsible and with great power comes great responsibility these are serious topics, they have been treated with great care and respect by authors and illustrators over the years. But as with anything, if you hand children meaningful, serious, heartfelt stories over and over and over and over, they’re going to get antsy. I mean, where’s the fun and adventure?
And then there are books like The super twins by Andy Slinger. The story concentrates on twins Ryan and Jake in which one incident gives them amazing Superpowers.
But with great power comes great responsibility so, could Ryan and Jake be able to stop all the evil force and defeat them in the ultimate battle?
The super twins is a power pack supply of action and adventure.
Highly Recommended to regenuate your kids imagination and life lessons.
