Synopsis
Coach's Hue is a tale of mystery, heartbreak, adventure and heroism: a new and hybridized being is formulated from Mother Nature's perseverance to survive humanity. A natural mystic guides Coach throughout his journey as humanity continues to ignorantly ravage the Earth with no regard for the negative effects and byproducts it produces along the way. In order for Mother Nature to persist, she is forced to take matters into her own proverbial hands. Born of The Great Smoky Mountains, Coach possesses several nature-derived abilities that he enacts with the people who support him as catalysts in his unique life. Just like the good comes with the bad, cause has an effect, and yin always has a yang. Coach must ultimately release what he absorbs throughout his journey. Coach is perpetually guided by Mother Nature and his antics are charming for most of the people he encounters, but not everyone is swayed by such exuberance. As life continues to unfold for Coach, the environment is deteriorating due to human negligence. This story is very humane whilst proportionately mysterious, and it possesses significant parallels to humanity's current and collective relationship with its environment. Everything we do as a species has an impact on the environment we all live within. The human species is meant to coexist harmoniously with the Earth. Yet, somewhere along the way this principal was lost. Mother Nature must be cruel to be kind.

My Thoughts
This one is more a wonderful character study and a take-off on the old age classic mystery. The story, as it should, grabs more and more as you turn the pages. Great writing. We get to know all the characters enough to care about them before something happens. Instead of a mystery construct this one is done as a thriller. I was never lost or confused. Clear concise writing.

Just when I got going into one character’s story, we’re off to another. Lots of atmosphere, and the setting carries equal, if not more, weight than the characters.

Story which is really a unique way of twisting the plot. By the end everyone has a motive just like in the best locked room mysteries. What was really nice, I did not guess the, “who.”

Four solid stars and I would recommend this book.

Hells to the yes!! This is the thriller I have been waiting for! Lately I admit, thrillers have not been..well thrilling me.
