Synopsis
When the forces of evil became too powerful, Lord Vishnu took an avatar in the form of Lord Ram to eradicate the evil. Lord Ram fought the forces of evil and ushered the world into a peaceful future. You have already heard this story, right? Rey had too.
Rey, a rather unassuming teen had always thought that the stories his parents told him, of the beautiful devas fighting the beastly asuras were only myths and were actually a way of imparting knowledge and lessons to the masses. But his world of science and logic turns upside down when he finds out that the asuras and devas are as real as the earth being round-ish and that one of the devas might be his ancestor!
Now, he finds himself thrust into the world of Devas and Asuras with the strength of neither. He must fight a battle he doesn’t want to fight, to save the fate of the world we know and the worlds we don’t. On this journey to find his true self, he uncovers dark secrets and darker truths. Will he be able to save the world or will he lose himself?

My Thoughts
I finished reading the novel a few days back and I must it was simply marvellous. In The sword of kalki, the way in which Abhishek’s story is blended with old mythology is remarkable. the author has maintained the structure of the great series intact. While reading this amazing story which showed tremendous promise. The thought of a Netflix adaptation also crossed my mind.
First of all, I am completely awestruck by the amount of research that has been done by Abhishek for this book. There are many facts that you might never have heard in your whole life and they would certainly increase your knowledge. For the history lovers out there, this book would certainly strike a chord.
I liked about the book was the character development. Each and every character in the novel has been developed in a very good way that provides a sense of connection with the character.
The writing style was also very good
But one thing I can say The over all feelings after reading this is I'm still in Awww. As I really learnt so many things from it in an interesting and humorous way that I would may be never search particularly and read about it. So it really feel like this is a must read for everyone who is looking for a complete package.
