This book helped my 7 and 9 year olds better understand themselves and each other, because one of my sons, like Sam, "feels like a girl inside." I love that Sam has supportive brothers who tell him how much they love him.
Being transgender is something most adults don't even understand, but this book makes it clear and simple: some people are born in the wrong body, it's not their fault, and they deserve to have those around them love and support them.
