My Thoughts
Just finished reading Getting Naked: The Bare Necessities of Entrepreneurship and Start-ups by Joel Primus . The book is very well written and read almost like a novel it's not just about business but also a fascinating story from the very beginning. This Part memoir and part entrepreneurial start-up manual which is written by the founder himself is my favourite because you get to know the person as opposed to biographies written by somebody else who has researched the business person. As somebody who has recently started his business, finishing reading this book left me quite inspired and there are many parts I would want to re-read. That last final chapters I couldn't put it down.

Interesting I read this book now when I've been offered a job at a start up company. I couldn't make up my mind if I should accept the job because of some doubts I have working in such a small environment. I can honestly say this book helped me to make the decision. A worldwide company now known by everyone, company that had A-list celebrity endorsements, raised over 17 million dollars, and sold its product in department stores around the world, including Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s. Very interesting to read about the beginnings, the journey how they got where they are today and what difficulties they faced even when one would think they were succeeding. The writing is clear and engaging and he manages to tell a story in such a way that makes you want to keep turning the pages until the end and entertains whilst also imparting some business knowledge at the same time.

This is even more valuable for those starting a business and a damn good read for those of us who just enjoy a good memoir/autobiography.

Highly recommended!
