What People are saying: Angus Watson (Author of Age of Iron Trilogy and West of West Trilogy): - "Kelly's prose whisks you back three thousand years so you're shoulder with bronze armoured shoulder with Achilles, Agamemnon and the rest of the gang. He's taken the Iliad and the Odyssey, shaken them up, swung them around and delivered them back, fizzing with adventure. How about the bible next Mr Kelly? Kelly's remixed Ancient World is a thrilling, page-turning joy."SJ Turney (Author of Marius mule's): - "A fresh take on one of the oldest myths, action packed and thrilling"

My Thoughts
I love it!!! Daniel Kelly has done it again. After The Fall of the Phoenix, I waited 2 years for the this book, and I finally read it. The cover is so beautiful. The book is well written, with Kelly's brand of humor. The tale of the Trojan War—its causes, its heroes, the wooden horse, the gods and goddesses who dramatically change the course of events—has fascinated us down the ages and is embedded in our collective imagination. A Hero's Welcome (Heroes of Troy Book 2) by Daniel Kelly is an inimitable retelling of the tale of Trojan War  . . . Kelly's narrative, artfully humorous and rich in detail, breathes life and contemporary relevance into these ancient tales.

The stage is set for the oldest and greatest story ever told, where monstrous passions meet the highest ideals and the lowest cunning.

In A Hero's Welcome (Heroes of Troy Book 2) you will find heroism and hatred, revenge and regret, desire and despair. It is these human passions, written bloodily in the sands of a distant shore, that still speak to us today.
A Hero's Welcome is a myth in which we seek the truth about ourselves, which Daniel Kelly brings breathtakingly to life for our modern age. Kelly's knowledge of the world - ancient and modern - bursts through at the seams . . . The reader will find themselves on a fun romp through the world's greatest story.

The book is an absolute delight. It is the first book I read on Greek mythology and it has got me hooked.
Highly Recommended!
