My Thoughts
It has been almost two years since I decided that I needed more horror in my reading life and started my first forays into the genre. And now I’m here, writing you this, and that’s a bit surreal. It was actually dark horror fantasy with an amazing pinch of thriller that served as my soft intro to the supernatural fantasy fiction genre: that beloved intersection of fantasy and horror. Hunting the Invisible (Fear and Fire, Book 1) by Valmiki B K is an amazing piece of literature with thrilling action-packed fantasy adventure flushed with twist and turns. You don’t have to choose! Part of the beauty of horror is its crossover power, able to fit into any other genre and make everything it touches that much darker and creepier. I must say it will make your skin do that crawling thing where it tries to physically move away from the book you’re holding, it’s also horror. So let’s celebrate this amazing book both frightening and magical.

For me it's the winner of the “most delightful cover ever” award, Valmiki's supernatural dark fantasy novel features 1753. British India.

It’s dark, it’s queer, and I’m here for it.
There is so much more that happens, but I don’t want to give anything away. I really loved everything about this book and gave it 4.5 stars.

Kudos to the author for writing this masterpiece!

Highly Recommended!
