My Thoughts
Yearn to Fear: Australian Spy Thriller - the Lamarr Series Book 1
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Chas Murrell. He manages to evoke such a strong sense of atmosphere that I almost feel that I am standing there in the scene being described along with the characters from the book. The sub plots switch deftly back and forth throughout the book and the characters felt believable and real. There is the typical world building that Chas Murrell does so well, there is detail about things stuffed into his book and I find that it just adds to the enjoyment. Finally I just love all the sharply observed behaviour and feelings that are sprinkled throughout this book. The writing style of Chas Murrell style is unique, light-hearted and fun. If you want to have the fun with this novel, you have to be patience, this novel need great deal of patience as Chas Murrell explains the backgrounds and all technicalities in detail.

Amazing story, awesome characters and real page turner and a must and a splendid read for all fiction (sci-fi/spy/thriller) fans. except for the ending overall this book is joy to read. For me, the world Chas Murrell creates is so enthralling that I'm glad it went on for a 350 pages so I could keep experiencing it. It's full of quirks and little changes to the world we know, just to keep you on your toes - for some reason. This book opened up a whole new world for me and I became a confirmed Chas Murrell fan on the strength of this novel. It's also a perfect stopping off point to get you into the Chas Murrell universe, if you intend to read his second book of this series.

Highly Recommended!
