This memoir is well-written, gripping as I had this book in paperback, but when a friend didn't return it I had to buy it again. Insightful, harrowing, and emotional journey of how these two preserved through the ultimate life challenges. I've read this book at least three times. This mother daughter team is brilliant. They are working in an area of relationship that every woman can relate to. Why? Because the mother daughter relationship is quite hard. But important. And quite powerful. This is a great book.
