Synopsis
Run the witching vault. Protect the Gateway. Say please. And don’t get killed.

After her release from magical prison, Jessica Northwood can’t hold a job to save her life. So when an apprenticeship opens up at a spellbound bank, no questions asked, she can’t exactly say no… But she definitely should have.

For centuries, the bank’s owners have stood between the Gateway in the upstairs hall and the occult syndicate who want it for themselves. As the current owner, the scryer witch is supposed to have that under control. But when the woman turns up dead, Jessica’s employment contract now says she’s the one tasked with this lethal responsibility.

Jessica has no idea what she’s doing…and the bank won’t let her leave. As she deals with magical clientele who know the stakes far better than she does, Jessica must decide just how far she’s willing to go to keep this job. Because if she doesn’t, she’ll end up as dead as the body in the lobby. Or worse.

My Thoughts
The Witching Vault by Kathrin Hutson is an amazing magical fast-paced Urban Fantasy Adventure and I discovered the “The Witching Vault” series one day while browsing Kindle recommendations based on my reading interests. Somewhere within the pages of the first chapter, I was hooked. I’ve loved every moment of every page in each book and in the process, I learned to open my mind to topics which always seemed a little taboo. As the characters developed, so did I and such is the beauty and magic of this series. I must say , I can’t believe I’d considered for even the briefest moment to not continue this journey that constantly has me checking release dates for the latest title in the series. I feel we were given many gifts with this book. In addition to the numerous surprises you’ll discover, the length of the book was not the longest one. For someone like myself who just can’t get enough, I was to the moon when I realized I’d have many hours to spend with characters I’ve grown so very fond of. This series is progressing exactly as it needs to be. I’m not sure how I know that, but I just feel it in my bones. Lol. It’s almost as if someone is gently guiding our author’s hand, saying, “This is how their stories need to be told and you are doing the perfect job.” This latest book allows the reader to see all the possible directions future books will take and I am giddy with anticipation.

I won’t give any spoilers as you only need to read a page or two before becoming completely immersed in the book. I tried taking my time reading this one because I wanted to relish every moment. Thanks for truly enjoyable series.

I found this tale to be entertaining, intriguing, and truely unputdownable.

Highly Recommended!
