My Thoughts
Of all the books you read to your baby, none feel quite as urgent as bedtime stories. And yet a good bedtime book like Always Forever should make your baby feel calm, secure and ready to nod off — if she even makes it all the way to the end. If not, there’s always tomorrow. Always Forever by Stephanie Ellison is soothing and lovely enough to read again, and again, and again. This book is my daughter's favourite as the day is winding down and it's time to sleep! Or is it? This book lovingly show young children around the world getting ready for bed — their favorite rituals, stuffed animals, stories, and songs. And you'll meet a few little ones along the way who aren't quite ready for bed — at least not yet! This book is a celebration of the bond between parents and their babies can be shared at naptime or bedtime or whenever it is time to say "I love you." I cannot read this book without crying. It is just so beautifully written and illustrated. And it's a lovely way to Let your child know how much you love him/her. You can even write a personal letter to your child. My daughter loved having this book.
I will confess that it usually makes me cry at the end, not from sadness, but with love for my daughter. We all care for our babies, we love them as much as - or more than - anything.
