Synopsis
There is a lifelong, internal battle about choices and their consequences.

Set in picturesque Nainital, Hoodwinking Hope is the story of a group of individuals at a mental health clinic seeking to define the purpose of their lives. Some try to run away from their problems, some refuse to acknowledge them and others take refuge in concealment.

Join our protagonist, Dr. Manoj Sinha, an upcoming therapist, as he tries to run from his past and hopes for a fresh start. Far from the escape he seeks, Manoj finds himself battling a fresh set of challenges: hostile colleagues, an angry ex, an intriguing patient, an impossible love… Will he rise to the occasion or succumb to his own demons? In a world filled with cynicism, follow how every individual seeks to find resolution and redemption.

Sometimes, all it takes is a chance encounter…

My Thoughts
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Reading can be a tremendous source of solace as we navigate the ups and downs of life. Books that contain characters we relate to can provide a way to transcribe the messiness in our minds and understand other people's emotions. Mental illness can sometimes make it challenging to find the concentration required to read, but Hoodwinking Hope is worth the effort. As great books do, they teach us new ways of seeing ourselves and the world. They help you remember you're not alone; that others have gone through similar struggles and survived. This is readable and quite well paced. It's also thoroughly researched.

The plot turns come fast and furious... Sharp characters enmeshed in a mystery that, particularly in its final lap, is a gleefully dizzy ride. Needless to say, this wonderfully written book did shed a great deal of light on the enigmatic character that is protagonist, Dr. Manoj Sinha, an upcoming therapist, and I have re-read the book and have no doubt that I will again in the future.

The story keeps you on toes , written in such a way that you will feel like you are with him the whole time...Overall, great book, would recommend to anyone looking to pick up an amazing thriller.

Highly Recommended!
