My Thoughts
Are there people you feel you were destined to meet or people who make you feel at home whenever you're around them? Those same people might occasionally drive you nuts or even contribute to your most transformational wounds. These are people with whom you have a strong soul connection—or what we often refer to as soul mates. Soulmates... Love is Forever by Harjeet Sra is a prime example and a reminder to all that sometimes reading books outside your genre can be positively surprising. It's one of the best books I think I've ever read. Sure - it's never going to find itself on a list of "the greatest literature ever written" - it's not going to be "the next Harry Potter" but I really do think that it's one of the best contemporary romance books I've read. If I could give it 6/5 stars I would. It is so compelling - it's almost impossible to put it down from the moment you start reading it - and not just the past paced it's-all-happening bits. Even the slower bits are so compelling that I read the whole book in one sitting - and have done several times since because I will quite happily read it over and over and over again. It's just the perfect balance of everything. I love how it's firmly in the young romantic genre - providing everything that I want in a contemporary romance book (a romance with a bit of the drama). This is definitely one of my top 10 books of all time!!!
I loved the twists and turns in this book and at times I found myself biting my nails and sitting on the edge of my seat. I started and finished this book in the same day. A great read which I thoroughly enjoyed. It's a fabulous romance with a little bit of thrill and drama chucked in.
So different; so intriguing, so addictive...The writing is spot on and so far from predictable...Fans of contemporary romance will enjoy this book and we HOPE they make a film of this one!
