Synopsis

My Thoughts
This is truly a unique story, and Sara tells the tale so well. I was in a slump when I started this book and it didn't disappoint because the world she's building is amazing. It leaves you with so many questions but you're so enthralled that your not left frustrated with all the questions because you know it's going to be that good. I did feel that it was a slower read but even though I thought it was slow, I couldn't wait to read what was on the next page. Sara DeLaVergne manages to create another rich, well crafted, believable fantasy world. Her characters aren't perfect, they have flaws, they seem like genuinely real people. The story is well crafted, flows well, and still manages to throw in a few plot curve-balls that I was oblivious to. I forsee this being a book that I read again and again.
The phenomenal writing of Sara DeLaVergne has once again stunned me speechless. Her way of storytelling leaves her readers feeling bereft when the last page is read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to lose themselves in a world so vivid and complex that their minds will forever be altered. I absolutely loved the writing at the end of the book. It's only a guess that the her words hints at mysteries yet untold and yet to come. This is definitely my favorite Sara DeLaVergne book to date. It will be hard to wait until the next book in the series is ready.
Get ready to be enthralled from the first word, and begging for more by the last. Sara DeLaVergne crafts an astonishing world that's filled with captivating characters and a story you won't be able to put down.
