In Gen Z Crossing, six different novellas, each reading like standalone fiction. In Blue Blood and Walls with Holes, Alyssa Stropolis joins her uncle Jay as he investigates an armed robbery. In The Brain Factory, Jared Kensington takes his grandmother, who has dementia, to a new center, "Brain Developer Solutions." they restore her brain to normal. The solution eventually leads to a problem as Jared's grandmother begins acting weird. This is where he learns that there is more going on inside her brain than what the people at BDS told him. Added to this suspenseful collection is The Philosophy of One, Hearts of Steel and Concrete and Reporter's Island.
My Thoughts
If you’re someone with a passing interest in suspense thriller and science fiction who’d like to know the genre better or would like to experience all the many splendours it has to offer without having to read 300-page novels, one of the best ways is through an anthology. If you’re a hardcore suspense thriller reader who wants to discover new authors or get deeper into the genre’s history and trends, one of the best ways is through an anthology.
A good anthology can stretch your mind in a way that a single novel can’t. You’ll have to plow through the occasional clunky story, but Gen Z Crossing by Gary A James will also expand your sense of what science fiction , suspenseful collection can be.
Good book to have in your collection because there are so many references to it. And when it comes to sci fi suspense thriller, anything new is old after a decade, so you can't expect it to remain astounding, amazing. The main thing is the literary quality. It's tops. That more than anything else has kept this book on the required reading pile. Gen Z Crossing is a landmark in anthology, one that can proudly stand against those literary snobs who look down their nose at the genre.
Gen Z Crossing consists of stories about the future that are really a commentary on our present, stories about technology done right, of technology gone wrong – they’re all in here, and then some.
Highly Recommended!
