My Thoughts
Utterly satisfied. The book is way too intriguing. Every word is framed to soothe mind and soul. My first book of Carrie Carter. I would recommend everybody to read this at least once. You can't help thinking about the characters and their adventures. I will be lost in thoughts about possibility of calmer, elegant life. This is the beauty of this book. It challenges your emotions, day to day adventure. It pushes you to delve deeper . Anyway, it is must to escape from the worldly chaos we are facing now. If not philosophical, it definitely is a worthy escape and great fun.
I enjoyed this and it passes my Beach Read Test though the book only takes a long-haul flight to get through. Whiskers Abroad: Ashi and Audrey's Adventures in Japan is a bit of a slow burn - and it's only at the two thirds through point that the big secret is revealed. And there aren't many more twists beyond that.
It's undeniably well-written. Who might enjoy this the most? All the adventure lovers , travelers. This is a very good book; a fascinating story, which I will not spoil. The book has to be well written, keeping the reader interested from the first page to the last, it also has to speak of the place and time it written in and of the time it written about.
The super fast plunge into the heart of the story
The adventures, its sheer improbability
The slow build up and the even slower unraveling.
Highly Recommended!
