Kadessa the Dragon makes a fabulous dance partner in this third story from the Dance-It-Out collection, pandemic creations by an award-winning dance teacher and her Ballerina daughter.

Grown-ups sit; kiddos move and practice dance fundamentals on their imagination stage. Ballerina Konora is featured on each page as optional movement mentor to help readers connect with movement.

My Thoughts
When we’re planning our developmental play groups, we typically plan the activities around a kid-friendly theme. Our themes inspire creative new ideas, keep us organized, and give kids some context for why we’re doing what we’re doing. 

Books like  Danny, Denny, and the Dancing Dragon: A Dance-It-Out Creative Movement Story for Young Movers by Once Upon A Dance are the perfect way to introduce a theme and to get kids’ imaginations going so they’re ready to jump into the rest of the activities related to the theme! When we’re selecting books to go along with creative movements and interesting activities, we are specifically looking for ones that will get kids up and moving while we read or books that will inspire movement in some way after we read.

Bouncing storyline and lots of joyous moves, Fun for adults to read and great for kids to hear and see. All of my kids love this book as do I. It is so fun to read and I can't help but sing this as a song when we read it. At this point I don't even remember how we ended up with this book but I'm so glad we did. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Danny, Denny, and the Dancing Dragon: A Dance-It-Out Creative Movement Story for Young Movers is a perfect movement book , it will inspire playful and creative movement activities in your home, classroom, or therapy practice!
