Synopsis
Little Cinderella Is More Than A Princess is an enthralling tale of a little girl named Cinderella, who through the magical power of love captures everyone's hearts including the little animals in her attic and communicates with those animals powered by her strong belief. In this story, Cinderella realizes she is more than a Princess and does not need a Fairy Godmother to transform her into a beautiful girl in a pretty fine gown, or a Prince to save her life and give it a happy ending. Her Fairy Godmother helps her realize that to be happy she just needed to be herself. She found immense joy in everything she did, be it playing or doing chores at home. Let's take a fairytale ride with Little Cinderella and help our little ones unravel the secret hidden inside each one of them - The Magical Secret of their Uniqueness.

My Thoughts
As you were probably told when you were in elementary school, “Just be yourself.” You can be a much happier person once you figure out who you truly are and when you learn how to be yourself. If you are like most people, then you have probably told yourself that things would be better if there were certain changes in your life or changes to yourself. You can make those positive changes yourself. Be proactive, and have a more positive outlook about yourself. Little Cinderella Is More Than A Princess by Maimoonah Mammi Kutty is A comforting fantasy children book which offers young children the opportunity for reflection to transform and to be happy by being yourself.

Maimoonah Mammi Kutty is such an amazing gift to the world! In a time when so much of the public story about Indigenous peoples is focused on damage, deficiency, and brokenness, this book offers Indigenous youth a story about joy, love, connection, happiness, and purpose of finding true self. The illustrations capture all those emotions with lightness and brightness, and together words and images lift the heart and mind. A must-have for every home, school, and public library, and a good introduction to the fantastic Indigenous artist Ruchitra Dinesh.

A light, warm and utterly charming book...Highly recommended for families, parents of young children to share with them and to begin conversation and sharing about emotions and piece of true happiness.

Highly Recommended!
