Synopsis
Hawk is a wounded healer bent on losing himself on the Chippewa reservation.
Jesse's a vegan nature photographer trying to find herself on that same wild land.

My Thoughts
Romantic suspense books are the perfect fusion between mystery and love story. These books tend to combine more traditional steamy romance plot lines with all the intrigue and drama of suspense, like a delightful Lifetime movie rendered on the page. If you like your thrillers with a side of swoon, check out Lure: Jesse & Hawk by W L Hawkin this racy, page-turning romantic thriller is a must read for everyone.
W L Hawkin's characterization are celebrated aspects of the novel, as is its imagery and narrative power. Much of the reason I love it is not only due to a complex plot and well-developed characters, but because even her minor characters have a few details that make them memorable. Another reason is the gorgeous way she writes. Her descriptions are vivid and I feel as if I could navigate that part of place based solely on her descriptions.
At the end we are steeped through and through with the genius, the vehemence, the indignation of W L Hawkin. A delightful concoction. A beautifully written mingling of romance and mystery.
