Synopsis
When a hotheaded DJ is caught in a viral web of vengeance, it's unlikely he'll find the wisdom to quiet his inner critic.

Thrilled when his newfound viral fame lands him a nationally syndicated show, he uses his connections to arrange a backstage pass to meet his new squeeze's legendary musical idol.

A riotous romp, They Canceled the DJ is an outrageous standalone dark comedy caper packed with over-the-top antics, satirical commentary, and humorous twists.

My Thoughts
I find dark humor the perfect category for when I’m feeling indecisive or having trouble focusing. Reading about self-aware characters in unfortunate circumstances reminds me not to take myself too seriously and helps me feel less overwhelmed in tough situations. The ability to shift perspectives and laugh at the unexpected is always important, especially now. Dig into They Canceled the DJ By Freddy Cruz novel filled with amazing comedy for some memorable scenarios with humorous twists entertainingly vulnerable characters. 

Filled with witty dialogue, hilarious antics, and a cast of bizarre and endearing characters, They Canceled the DJ  is at once a touching story, a surreal examination of identity, and an affectionate tribute to the power of writing. Freddy Cruz has written a fast-paced, wildly inventive novel that is somehow both hilarious and thought-provoking. In fact, I couldn’t stop wondering when I last read a book so enjoyable.

The obstacles, the quirky characters, the plot turns and pivots. Despite its ability to laugh at the writing world and its daffy denizens, They Canceled the DJ nonetheless ultimately affirms the essential importance of the word.
