Synopsis
Alfred Quinsay's novel describes the devious dealings of the immensely wealthy businessman, Tony Hua, who has his eye on Philippine land earmarked for the construction of the largest mall and luxury tourist development in the world. His motives are far removed from the unique tourist playground envisaged by Ronald Lim, owner of the company awarded the contract for the construction.
Add in the sultry Lily, wife of Tony Hua and former lover of Emil, the secret agent for the military, who was sent as an engineer to oversee the building project. Undercover, Emil was to infiltrate the oligarchs in classified dealings with the Chinese government. Here you have a story involving many twists and turns that keeps you spellbound until its final explosive conclusion.

My Thoughts
Thrillers have taken the book industry by storm over the last several years for one clear reason: They make reading really fun. In a world where so many things compete for our attention, thrillers stand out as gripping stories full of shocking twists and turns. They build up fast and tightly hold our interest as we navigate shadowy hallways and unsolved murders, eliciting an adrenaline rush just from turning the page — making them especially perfect reads for the this season. Love is War, War is Love by Alfred Quinsay is one of those dramatic novels flushed with many twist and turns along side breathtaking suspense and unputdownable thrill. 

Alfred Quinsay teases out his twisty plot at just the right pace, leaving readers on the edge of their seats. There will surely be comparisons to top novels. For thriller readers, Alfred's latest will not disappoint. Sharply written with twists and turns, it will please suspense lovers. Brilliant storytelling, creating suspenseful yet believable novels time and again. ILove is War, War is Love is no exception—filled with intriguing characters connected in startling ways.

Speaking of throwing books against a wall, this was the first book I ever chucked when the plot twist was revealed — one that I didn't even know was a possibility until I reached the climax.
