Synopsis

Synopsis: Special Agent Malcolm Bram arrives at the House of the Rising Sun. This secluded compound is the home of the secretive Ordo Dracul and the scene of a horrendous crime coined, "The Cult of Dracula Mass Suicides". Mina Murray leads a documentary film crew to uncover the secrets of the mysterious cult by interviewing its enigmatic leader, Robert Renfield. Neither investigator is prepared for the gravity of the truths they will uncover.

Eisner Award Winning Artists Sanford Greene (Bitter Root) & Georges Jeanty (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) join interior artist Henry Martinez (Ghost Rider) to round out an all star creative team. Alan Quah (Nightwing) , Tiffany Groves (Star Wars) & Gyula Nemeth (Criminal Macabre) also contribute covers.

My Thoughts
For readers who crave mini-adrenaline rushes and skin-crawling scenes, horror books can delightfully keep us up at night, chill us to the bone, and frighten us beyond our nightmares. 
Whether you've already blown through most of Stephen King's books or are just dipping your toe into the genre, the books on this list are sure to have you leaving the lights on until you're done. If you love horror mystry books then Cult of Dracula by Rich Davis is a must read for you. Frankly speaking this is not my favored genre of reading, but what hooked me till the last is the author's beautiful writing. The prose is lyrical, the first-person narrative gives a personal touch, and the sudden twist and turns keeping the tension throughout the book makes it absolutely unputdownable. However, the constant jumps from one time period to another without referring/exploring it feels a little jittery to me. All the characters are built up cleverly.

The climax of the book is powerful and thought-provoking, making it a well-executed retelling. I wish I could've read more books by Rich Davis. Overall, Cult of Dracula is a wonderful and unique read that touches several genres like historical, horror, Dracula, fantasy, paranormal, so anybody can read and enjoy it.
