My Thoughts
After years I found myself reading a book late into the night because it was so gripping. I am not a fan of horror stories or short stories, but this book suprised me by engaging me in the way that it did. I was taken back to my childhood and nights spent with cousins or friends sharing horror stories and then being startled at every sound or scared of going to the bathroom. I especially loved how relatable the characters in the stories were. I could find myself nodding along at certain things they said or did. In short, a gripping, interesting read, perfect for reading late into the night. Absolute spine chilling past few days reading it. Such an easy flow of language yet powerful. This is a must have for ghost story lovers like myself. Growing up I also heard so many spooky events and this book was a destination I needed to have everything written out. Definitely looking for another of this kind from the author. Now I have the habit for checking the windows and bathroom door time to time at night. Such an effect a good piece of literature can have.
There was not a dull second for me. I read the book in groups, at various times. Also, I should say, I completely partook in my ride. The composing appropriately caught the frighteningness and component of dread. They stream flawlessly from a finish to another depicting the scene distinctively.
I could absolutely see things occurring in my mind. The ideal length added to my advantage in each creepy story. The accounts of frequenting appeared so genuine, so welcoming, so engrossing. The cover page of this book portrays a spookiness in the midst of the excellent perspective on mountains. I truly LOVED your book.
