Synopsis
The War of Love is a thriller romance about an unlikely pair meeting each other and slowly falling deeply in love against the odds. Jason is a hard-working bar owner trying to pay off his bar and make something of himself rather than being a washed up drunk like his father. Heather is a swimming athlete trying to make tier one in the twelfth grade, willing to risk everything to show her worth. Jason meets Heather swimming at a rocky cove where he lost his twin brother by his own hands five years ago. Jason, a brooding and grieving bad ass doesn’t do relationships anymore because he doesn’t want to get close enough to anyone to become hurt. Heather hopes to change Jason’s stubborn mind when she starts a dangerous game. Heather dares Jason to do activities to feel emotions again, and if she wins Jason agrees to be in a relationship with her. However, Jason demands Heather must also do activities to realize feeling is stupid and it’s better to be numb. If Jason wins, Heather must loose contact with Jason forever. As the stakes get higher, it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems. Suddenly, Heather’s friend dies at a swim competition gruesomely, and her best friend ends up critically injured, with all signs pointing to Jason. Could it turn out the man Heather loves is nothing more than an emotionless psychopathic killer, or could Jason somehow be innocent?

The War of Love by Jennie Stretch It’s finally time for all the thriller romance lovers to get their hands on The War of Love, I had the pleasure of reading this amazing book, and needless to say the writing is all amazing! No one should be surprised that this thrilling storyline is amazing. Not to mention that in this perfect-for-summer read that you get lots of specifically beautiful thrilling romance. Always a favourite of mine! Plus, it can never hurt a book to have a gorgeous cover! Seriously, just look at this perfection of a cover! So freaking gorgeous! Long story short, I loved the characters in this novel and would highly recommend reading this book! Five star rating to this amazing novel.
Anyone who knows me knows I love all things romantic thriller related. So what’s better than a thrilling novel or a great technical read? Well, a romantic Thriller book of course. The War of Love is the first in a brand-new romantic thriller by Jennie Stretch reads for you to sink your teeth into. I’ll be honest: I actually just read this book recently and I cannot stop thinking about it. Are you a mystry thriller reader who loves attempting to guess the twist with every new piece of information you receive? Because I am and this novel did not disappoint. This novel was truly addicting to the point where I kept trying to sneak my Kindle into the office so I could keep reading.
Jennie Stretch truly has a way with words and this spooky story is sure to grab you from the start. It really does have all the best elements of a thriller novel mixed with romance for you to enjoy.
