Synopsis

My Thoughts
This book is full.of spice and also a plot. The storyline is easy to follow and flows well. It will pull at your emotions as well as get your blood flowing! Likeable characters, spice of course, the way the book is broken up into parts is nice as well. The story itself flows nicely even with the extra spice included which is a huge plus. 

If you think about it, “paranormal” and “romance” really go hand in hand: both involve concepts beyond the realm of pure scientific explanation. So it makes sense that “paranormal romance," a speculative genre that explores affairs of the heart, has shot an arrow straight through readers’ hearts and seen a major boom in popularity lately. 

Jennifer Ivy Walker works her own form of literary alchemy by deftly blending fantasy, romance, interesting characters, and horror into one completely paranoid book. All her characters are fully fleshed and unique, which, when combined with the complex and engaging plot, results in one of the better fantasy debuts in recent months. The contemporary setting should help draw a large crossover audience.

Delightfully well-crafted and enchantingly imaginative . . . It has some of the same ineluctable atmosphere that made Jennifer Ivy Walker’s paranormal romance books such a popular success.
