The Soul Voyager By Meera Jenkal
When was the last time you looked at life with curiosity and wonder? When did you believe that there could be more than just this one-dimensional reality we see? As adults, we tend to overlook the things that brought us new excitement and experiences when younger – one of them being stories. Every child loves a good bed-time-story before sleeping, for in it is something soothing- a good pillow on which to go get dreams.
This is a magical story about an individual’s passage from darkness into her own light for a higher purpose through one day of strange, surreal stories from an unexpectedly encountered meditative monk. What the stories are and where they lead her is the making of a beautiful conversation and journey.
My Thoughts
If you go into The Soul Voyager expecting it to be pulp scifi where the larger than life heroes have to take down the evil galactic empire, The Soul Voyager will disappoint you. The Soul Voyager has more in common with Shakespeare than Flash Gordan.
The soul Voyager is a novel about different humanly emotions, different dimensions, spirituality, higher purpose, profit, leadership and true heroism… and spice.
Meera Jenkal kick-started the Science fiction genre with this powerful novel. The writing is evocative without being verbose. It has sharp dialogues. The characters are vivid. The plot was innovative and brilliantly developed into the story. Its story is so diverse and its characters so jaded that Meera Jenkal certainly grabs your attention with a new style.
The soul Voyager is a staple of life changing literature and if you’re ordering this, I don’t need to go on any further about the contents of the book. The cover image is neat and all but I would recommend you to buy this book because of its wonderful content.
A must read for sure!
